Alexandra-Maria-Lara
Alexandra Maria Lara, a Romanian and German actress working in film and TV is most well-known for her roles in films such as Rush and Downfall Youth Without Youth Control. Alexandra was the sole child of Romanian actor Valentin Platareu. At sixteen, she had been offered a variety of television roles such as the lead role in the film Downfall Youth without Youth Control. She was praised for her performance of Der Tunnel. This paved the way for more memorable roles, including Adolf Hitler's secretary of state Traudl Junge. Another Oscar nominated film starring the famous diva are The Reader and Der Baader Meinhof Komplex. Alexandra participated in several well-known worldwide and national productions over her career. The most notable of these include British biographical film Control Greek drama film The Dust of Time and French documentary about the history of Napoleon and many more. She was also on the jury at the Transylvania International Film Festival, and also at Cannes Film Festival.
