Aisling Bea

Aisling was born on March 16 1984, at Kildare Ireland. She is one of Ireland's most successful and popular comedians. The comedian appeared on QI along with Stephen Fry. Aisling Cliodhnadh O'Sullivan (born 16 March 1984) is better known by her stage name Aisling Bea is a popular Irish comedian and actress from Ireland. Bea started her professional career with stand-up comedy in the year 2011 after playing small roles she played on Irish and British TV dramas beginning in 2009. In 2012, she began being featured in sketch comedy programs or sitcoms as well as other similar programs. In the wake of her success in the Edinburgh Comedy Awards, she was scheduled for a range of panel show. Between 2016 and 2017, she served as the team captain for 8 Out of 10 Cats and a regular contestant on the follow-up show 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown. She was born to Brian O'Sullivan, the actress was blessed with one sister named Sinead. She was in 2012 the only woman in history to be awarded the So You think You're Funny award. Bea is her maiden name in honour of her deceased father. Aisling Cliodhnadh O'Sullivan, born Kildare town County Kildare on 16 March 1984. Bea's father Brian passed away at age three. He was a horse veterinary. Bea wasn't told the details of how he passed before she reached the age of 13. The stage name she chose was Bea to honor her late father. Bea also published an article published in The Guardian on her family's suicide experience. Bea and her younger sister Sinead were raised by their mother Helen (nee Moloney) who was a secondary school teacher, jockey trainer, and professional jockey for a time. The family was obsessed with horses and racing. As a young girl, Bea worked as an instructor in the Irish National Stud however she was aware from an early stage that she was not attracted to the race industry as a job, and loved performing.
